Shawn Sedaghat : I, and in turn my firm, have chosen to specialize in immigration law, because to do immigration law well, that's the only kind of law you should do. I found out early on in my practice that since immigration laws are prone to regular and drastic changes due to the political climate of the day, this area of legal specialty requires a constant refreshing of legal knowledge, extensive research and upkeep with the new cases and trends, and cannot be done well by those who just dabble in it. In today’s political climate I see that laws that are already strict, are getting even stricter. Clients depend on me and my colleagues at the firm, regardless of what it is we have been retained to help them with. I have found out that concentrating on immigration law allows me and my associates to have a the focus and concentration required to best assist our clients achieve their goals.
